“Rock with U” is a dance-pop song written by Jermaine Dupri and Ne-Yo, and recorded by American singer Janet Jackson. Produced by Dupri, it is the second single from Jackson’s tenth studio album and first album with Island Records, Discipline.
The music video, directed by Saam Farahmand, premiered on BET‘s Access Granted on March 5, 2008. The video features Jackson having a party inside a club with red and white rays of light entering the room. Throughout the video, Jackson and a group of dancers perform complex dance routines.
