Aerosmith .:. Love In An Elevator

Love in an Elevator” is a song performed by American hard rock band Aerosmith, written by Steven Tyler and guitarist/backing vocalist Joe Perry. It was released in August 1989 as the lead single from their third album with Geffen Records, Pump, released in September 1989.It peaked at #5 on the Billboard Hot 100 and reached #1 on the Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. Although somewhat esoteric, the song was recorded soon after the band finished a 30 day stint at Sierra Tucson rehabilitation center. The only sense that could be made of this is that Steven either went with the woman into the elevator to hide from the staff there, or that on his way out of the program, he stayed at a hotel and met the woman there. This is the most logical in that there is no sex permitted at the Sierra Tucson program.
