The Balkans Club of Peace, is an international non-govermental organization, founded in Skopje, Republic of Macedonia, on 30 July 2004 and consists of eleven member-countries: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Macedonia, Moldavia, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia and Turkey.
Mr. Osmo Vatres President of Balkans Club of Peace
Born in 1957 in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Vatres holds Law degree and throughout hir career has been always active in political and social life.
He was engaged in profesional politics in former Yugoslavia, before his disintegration. He was a President of Committee of the Peace Organization -that lead nagotiations with the highest political leaders and the President of the former Yugoslav government in order to find a solution in the Republics separations avoiding the war. Mr. Vatres is an autor of the book: “The Mission of peace”, that wasrecently published in several languages. With his friends, representatives from other Balkan countries and other international institutions and associations, he founded “The Balkans Club of Peace”
